Mr. Thomas has expertise in research methodology, statistical analysis, and program evaluation. He is responsible for developing, designing, and conducting experimental and evaluation safety and health research for the National Safety Council. Mr. Thomas is also chief consultant for the NSC’s employee safety perception survey service. He maintains the databases, develops survey instruments, sampling protocols, analyses survey data, and prepares and presents results reports. Mr. Thomas is a doctoral candidate in applied social psychology at Loyola University of Chicago. He currently teaches research methods, statistics, and applied methods at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Prior to joining the NSC, Mr. Thomas designed, conducted, and managed research projects for the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
